OAPEN (Open
Access Publishing in European Networks) is a collaborative initiative to
develop and implement a sustainable Open Access publication model for academic books
in the Humanities and Social Sciences. The OAPEN Library aims to improve the
visibility and usability of high quality academic research by aggregating peer
reviewed Open Access publications from across Europe. OAPEN is a mission-driven
network dedicated to promoting OA publishing as an essential service to the
academic community. OA publishing is in the public interest and should be seen
as an essential service to the scientific community and to society at large. We
promote common standards and share valuable information on, and experiences of,
markets as well as business and publishing models. OA save you time and effort
in the transition to sustainable OA publishing.
