The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body of the department of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and Government of India. It is an apex body in India for the formulation, co-ordination, development and promotion of research on scientific lines in Ayurveda system of medicine and also the Sowa-Rigpa, commonly known as Tibetian or Amchi medicine.The site contains extensive details about Ayurveda, Siddha and Amchi systems. The activities including funding and job opportunities and achievements of the council on different aspects of these streams of traditional medicines are available.
